01Who we are
These terms cover the web development and website care services offered by Sujon Mir, an independent web developer based in Munshiganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh (“we”, “us”). “You” means the person or business that hires us or creates a client account on this site.
By creating an account, sending us work, or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Sifra Chat, our website chatbot service, has its own terms at sifra.chat/terms.
02Our services
We work on WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify websites, custom-coded sites and web apps: fixes, updates, changes, new features, speed, security and new builds. You can hire us in four ways:
- Web Care, weekly tiers (the default): ongoing work, billed by the hours we work each week.
- Fixed hourly rate: every hour billed at a rate we agree before we start.
- Fixed price per project: one price for a defined job, agreed up front and paid on delivery.
- Monthly retainer: a flat amount each month for ongoing care.
What a fixed-price project includes is the scope we agree in writing (chat or email). Work outside that scope is quoted or billed separately, and only after you say yes.
03Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date, especially your email and your WhatsApp or Telegram contact.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Your dashboard shows our tracked time, work notes, invoices and payments. It is the record we both rely on.
04Access to your website
- You give us the logins or access we need for the work you ask for, and you confirm you have the right to do so.
- We use that access only for your work, never share it, and stop using it when the work ends. Please change any passwords you shared once we are done.
- You own your website, content, domains, hosting and accounts. We never take ownership of them.
- We take a backup before risky changes where your setup allows it, but you are responsible for keeping your own regular backups.
05How billing works
Web Care weekly tiers. Each week runs from the day you signed up, measured in Bangladesh time (UTC+6). The hours we work that week fall into a tier, and the tier is the price:
| Hours in the week | Price |
|---|---|
| Under 30 minutes | Free |
| Up to 2h | $20 |
| 2 – 5h | $50 |
| 5 – 8h | $70 |
| 8 – 12h | $100 |
| 12 – 16h | $130 |
| 16 – 20h | $150 |
| Over 20h | $150 + $15 per extra 2-hour block, rounded up |
Fixed hourly rate. Every tracked hour is billed at the agreed rate. There is no free light week and no tier discount.
Monthly retainer. Billed once per calendar month. A month that starts or ends part-way is charged only for the days it ran.
Fixed price. Nothing up front. You pay the agreed price once the project is delivered and you are happy with it.
We track our time live and you can watch it in your dashboard. Prices shown on this site are in US dollars; a project can be billed in another currency if we agree that in advance. Prices may change for future work with at least 14 days’ notice; work already done is always billed at the price that applied when it was done.
06Invoices and payment
- We email an invoice when each week (or month, or project) closes. Each invoice shows the new charge, any earlier balance and any advance applied. The latest invoice is the one that counts.
- You can pay one invoice, several together, or pay in advance. Anything paid above what is due stays as credit (“advance”) and is used for your next invoices.
- We accept bank transfer and mobile banking (bKash, Nagad, Cellfin). From abroad you can send a bank or bKash transfer with Wise or Xoom. Payment details are in your dashboard and in every invoice email. Please quote the invoice number as the reference.
- Any transfer or conversion fees are paid by the sender, so the invoiced amount arrives in full.
- Every payment we record gets a receipt by email.
- If a balance stays unpaid for more than 30 days after its invoice, we may pause new work until it is settled. We will always tell you first.
07Third-party costs
Premium plugins, themes, apps, hosting, domains, fonts, stock images and similar are bought by you, in your name, unless we agree otherwise. Their own terms and prices apply, and we are not responsible for how third-party products or services work, change or fail.
08Ownership of the work
- Once the related invoice is paid, everything we made specifically for you (code, designs, content) is yours.
- We keep the right to reuse our general know-how, techniques and generic code that is not specific to your business.
- We will not show your website in our portfolio or name you as a client without your permission.
09Confidentiality
We keep your business information, customer data, logins and anything else you share with us private, and use it only to do your work. This continues after we stop working together.
10Our work and fixes
We do the work with reasonable skill and care, and test changes before we call them done. If something we changed stops working because of our own mistake and you tell us within 14 days, we fix it at no charge.
Websites depend on hosting, plugins, themes, apps and browsers that we do not control. We can not promise that a site will never break, that it will be free of every bug, or that it will reach any particular ranking, traffic or sales.
11Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost sales, lost data or downtime. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can not be limited by law.
12Ending the service
You can stop at any time by sending us a message: no contract, no notice period, no minimum. We can also stop working with you, with reasonable notice where possible. In both cases you pay only for work already done, and unused advance credit is handled as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We hand back or remove any access you gave us.
13Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and for meaningful changes we email active clients before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If we disagree about something, we will first try to sort it out by talking.
